Beaufort House Booking Conditions

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

To guarantee a reservation credit card details are required and the following deposit policy applies:

Reservations of less than 1 week - full prepayment is required. Low & mid season reservations of 1 week or longer - 1 week’s rental is required. The remaining balance due for the period of the booking is to be paid immediately upon arrival.
For high season reservations 2 weeks rental is required. The remaining balance due for the period of the booking is to be paid immediately upon arrival. For shorter reservations, full prepayment will be required. During the Mid & High season, minimum stay requirement applies.

All deposits are due 4 - 6 weeks prior to the arrival date (4 weeks – for low & mid season reservations, 6 weeks for high season reservations).

On arrival a credit card imprint or cash (sterling) will be taken as security.

CANCELLATIONS OR AMENDMENTS

If notice of cancellation or amendment is received in writing 14 days (low & mid season reservations) or 42 days (high season) prior to arrival a full refund is given*. However, where less than 14 days (42 days for high season reservations) notice is given, you will be liable for the full cost of the stay and no refund will be made, unless the accommodation can be re-let.
Refunds are subject to a 5% handling fee.

During the Mid & High season, minimum stay requirement applies. You will not be able to shorten your stay for less than minimum stay requirement.

Holiday insurance is very strongly recommended.

RATES AND VAT

Prices quoted are per apartment, per night (daily rates for stay of 6 nights or less) or per week (weekly rates for stay of 7 nights or more), in British Pounds Sterling, and are subject to availability at time of reservation. Prices may change without notice. Certain day of arrival and length of stay restrictions apply, and will vary by arrival date. Offers are neither applicable to groups, nor combinable with other special offers or promotions. All rates are inclusive of VAT at 20%. After twenty eight consecutive nights 4% VAT charge will apply. Rates vary during our high and low season. All rates are displayed on our website and at reception. Long term rates are provided on request.

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

Apartments are available for occupation from 15:00 hours. Apartments must be vacated by 11:00 hours on the day of departure.
Late check-out after this time can be requested in advance. It is subject to our availability and it will be charged at 50% of the daily rate if check-out before 2 pm and full rate after 2 pm.

BREAKAGES

When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid direct at the time to the hotel or other supplier. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against us (together with our own and the other party’s full legal cost) as result of your action.

TELEPHONES

On arrival a credit card imprint or cash (sterling) will be taken as security for telephone charges. Telephone calls are charged per unit. The length of the unit depends on where you are calling (international, local) and the time of the day. Please contact reception to find out more details about the phone call charges. Each apartment has its own direct line.

PETS

Unfortunately pets are not allowed in our apartments.

SMOKING

Please be advised that all public areas have non-smoking policy, however, smoking in the apartments is allowed.

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE

Our facilities have been upgraded to assist certain mobility impairments. Suitable for person with sufficient mobility to climb a flight of steps but who would benefit from fixtures and fittings to aid balance. There are few steps to reach the main entrance and the lift area. The second entrance is equipped with a stair lift which allows step free access directly to reception/lobby.
All floors are accessible by the main lift and stairs. There is not hearing system in reception. All 1 bedroom apartments and 2 bedroom Standard apartment are single levelled. The 2 bedroom Superior apartment and all 3 and 4 bedroom apartments are split levelled. There are four deep steps between bedroom and common areas (kitchen, living and dining rooms).

LOST/DAMAGED PROPERTY

The hotel’s liability for guest belongings is generally limited under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act, a copy of which is displayed in reception/lobby area.
We strongly recommend keeping your valuables in the in-room safe.
Lost property is kept for period of three months, Items of food or medicine for up to 24 Hours. Unfortunately due to storage capacity, any unclaimed items will be disposed of after this time.

LUGGAGE SERVICE
We will be happy to store your luggages. Items accepted by us will be returned only on presentation of given receipt and items must be collected by the agreed date. We reserve the right to refuse some items (weapons, dangerous chemicals, valuables) and due to our storage capacity, we reserve the right to limit the numbers of your luggages accepted for storing.

COMPLAINTS & ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR

During the reservation process you will be asked to sign our Terms and Conditions and on arrival our registration form with terms and conditions and house rules written on the back side.

In the event that you have any reason to complain or experience any problems during your stay, please inform us immediately.
In case of any serious misconduct or complaints due to unacceptable antisocial behaviour, Beaufort House Ltd reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and no refunds will be given.

SECURITY

Beaufort House is located in quite tree-lined Regency terrace in the heart of Knightsbridge.
CCTV system operates in public areas and all apartments are fitted with door spy hole, deadlock and inter-phone for your own safety. Safety deposit box is available at reception and every apartment has in-room safe. The entrance door is kept closed and reception is manned 24 hours a day. During the night time inter phone may be used to verify guest name.
Every apartment has fitted smoking and heat detectors and fire alarm points are located on each floor. Every apartment is equipped with fire extinguisher and fire blanket. There is escape route sign in every apartment and fire exit routes are clearly signed.

PARKING

Beaufort House does not have its own car park. On-Street parking is available with parking meters (for maximum stay of 2 hours during the daytime and free of charge during the night time and on Sundays). Several NCP car parks are located within the vicinity of Beaufort House (NCP Car Park is in Pavilion Road). Beaufort House does not accept responsibility for any vehicles.

LOST KEYS

Lost or mislaid keys will be replaced in exchange for £250 administration charge.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY

Each type of apartment has set a maximum occupancy.
We reserve the right not to proceed with the registration on your arrival, should the amount of persons exceed the number stated on our reservation confirmation.

There is an extra charge for using sofa bed of £18 per night. The sofa bed does not have the same quality as regular bed due to mattress thickness, so we only recommend it for child up to 10 years old or overnight visitor.

INSURANCE

We advise you to take out travel insurance to cover cost of cancellation, amendments and other risks including loss or damage to personal belongings or personal accident. The hotel’s liability for guest belongings is generally limited under the Hotel Proprietor’s Act 1956.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Beaufort House offers self catering accommodation with fully fitted kitchens and dining areas.
There is no restaurant, bar or room service, however there are two companies they offer meals delivery; Deliverance and Room Service. You can select from their menu and the meal will be delivered to your apartment door. Also our friendly concierge will be happy to assist you with any restaurant bookings.

Beaufort House is situated in Beaufort Gardens, a quiet tree-lined Regency terrace in the heart of London's exclusive Knightsbridge area.
The world-famous Harrods department store is within a minutes' walk leading onto the renowned Sloane Street where you will find all the world famous boutiques. Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace are also within walking distance.

All twenty apartments are self-contained with modern kitchens equipped with oven, microwave oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher.

Home comforts abound including free wireless internet access, flat TV screen in all living rooms and bedrooms offering large selection of programmes, iPod connectors, DVD players, direct line telephones and a video entry phone all add to unparalleled privacy and comfort.

All apartments are individually furnished and are constantly kept to an extremely high standard. All bedrooms face Beauchamp Place and many have west facing balconies or patios, a real luxury right in the heart of London. The apartments are cleaned daily and our 24 hours concierge service will care of your every need.

1 Bedroom Standard apartment
Maximum occupancy 2 persons, approx. 482 sq ft, mostly located on lower floors of the property with no street view, apartments on lower ground floor have a private patio. Every apartment consists of one bedroom with king-sized bed that can be split into 2 twin beds (1 queen size only), a private or en-suite bathroom with bathtub, a combined living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. This apartment type is fully air-conditioned.

1 Bedroom Superior Apartment
Maximum occupancy 2 persons (3 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional person - £18.00 per night)
Approx. 500 sq ft, located on the first floor (second floor US) with no street view. Every apartment consists of one bedroom with king-sized bed that can be split into 2 twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with bathtub, a combined living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Superior apartments have an additional cloakroom and a sofa bed in the lounge for additional person. This apartment type is fully air-conditioned.

1 Bedroom Executive Apartment
Maximum occupancy 2 persons (3 if sofa bed is in use for additional charge of £18.00 per night).
Approx. 603 sq ft, located on lower ground floor. Every apartment consists of one bedroom with king-sized bed that can be split into 2 twin beds, 2 full bathrooms (one with walk-in shower), a living room with a separate dining room and additional storage space, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Executive apartment is our largest type of 1 bedroom apartments with a private patio either off the bedroom or the lounge. No view. This apartment type is fully air-conditioned.

2 Bedroom Standard Apartment
Maximum occupancy 4 persons, approx. 678 sq ft, located on the 4th floor. This apartment consists of two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, the second bedroom with twin beds, a private bathroom with bathtub (off the hallway, near the bedrooms), additional cloakroom, a combined living/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is fully air-conditioned.

2 Bedroom Superior Apartment
Maximum occupancy 4 persons (5 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional charge - £18.00 per night)
Approx. 883 sq ft, located on the upper ground floor. This apartment consists of two bedrooms, master bedroom with king-sized bed and second bedroom with twin beds. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom (the bathroom in the master bedroom has bathtub and walk-in shower), an additional cloakroom, a combined living/dining room with double height ceiling and electric fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is partial air-conditioned (bedrooms only).


3 Bedroom Standard Apartment
Maximum occupancy 6 persons (with option to use a sofa bed for additional person for £18.00 per night).
Approx.1150 sq ft, some with west facing balconies off the bedrooms, flexible bedding arrangement, beds can be made into king or twin beds. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the other 2 bedrooms share one private bathroom located off the hallway (opposite the bedrooms), with an additional cloakroom. All three and four bedroom apartments are on split levels with the living accommodation on one side facing the front of the building. The bedrooms are located either a few steps up or down and face the quiet back of the property, overlooking fashionable Beauchamp Place. All three and four bedroom apartments have a separate living room and a separate dining room, which can be also used as a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is partial air-conditioned (bedrooms only).

3 Bedroom Standard Apartment (5PAX)
Maximum occupancy 5 persons (6 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional charge - £18.00 per night)
Around 1051 sq ft, some with west facing balconies off the bedrooms. There are two bedrooms with either king or twin beds and one bedroom with single bed only. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, the other 2 bedrooms share one private bathroom located off the hallway (opposite the bedrooms). This is our smallest 3 bedroom standard apartment. All three and four bedroom apartments are on split levels with the living accommodation on one side facing the front of the building. The bedrooms are located either a few steps up or down and face the quiet back of the property, overlooking fashionable Beauchamp Place. All three and four bedroom apartments have a separate living room and a separate dining room, which can be also used as a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is partial air-conditioned (bedrooms only).

3 Bedroom Superior Apartment
Maximum occupancy 5 persons (6 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional charge - £18.00 per night)
Approx. 1162 sq ft, some with west facing balconies off the bedrooms. There are two large bedrooms with either king or twin beds, both with en-suite bathrooms and one bedroom with single bed only. The third private bathroom is located off the hallway. Living accommodation is same as in standard apartments. All of the larger apartments have electric fireplace, some have balcony. All three and four bedroom apartments are on split levels with the living accommodation on one side facing the front of the building. The bedrooms are located either a few steps up or down (up to 8 steps) and face the quiet back of the property. All three and four bedroom apartments have a separate living room and a separate dining room, which can be also used as a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is partial air-conditioned (bedrooms only).

3 Bedroom Executive Apartment
Maximum occupancy 6 persons (7 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional charge - £18.00 per night)
Approx. 1312 sq ft. with large terrace to the front of the building. A large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second bedroom with twin beds and third bedroom with queen queen-sized bed share the second private bathroom located off the hallway. There is an additional cloakroom. This apartment has a large living room with double height ceiling and is, together with the 2 bedroom Superior, our most popular apartment. All three and four bedroom apartments are on split levels with the living accommodation on one side facing the front of the building. The bedrooms are located either a few steps up or down and face the quiet back of the property. All three and four bedroom apartments have a separate living room and a separate dining room, which can be also used as a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. This apartment type is partially air-conditioned (bedrooms only).


4 bedroom Superior Apartment
Maximum occupancy 8 persons (9 if sofa bed in the lounge is in use for additional charge - £18.00 per night)
Approx. 1500 sq ft, with large terrace to the front of the building. Apartment consists of 4 bedrooms with flexible bedding arrangement.Two bedrooms have en-suite bathroom, the other two share the third private bathroom located off the hallway. All three and four bedroom apartments are on split levels with the living accommodation on one side facing the front of the building. The bedrooms are located either a few steps up or down and face the quiet back of the property. All three and four bedroom apartments have a separate living room and a separate dining room, which can as well be used as a meeting room, a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.This apartment type is partially air-conditioned (bedrooms only).
